Replacing Documents When You Have Lost All of Your IDs
Replacing Documents When You Have Lost All of Your IDs
To replace documents when you have lost all of your identifying documentation:
First replace your birth certificate. To find out how to do this without any ID, go to: http://uwc.211ct.org/birth-certificates/ and visit the Connecticut Department of Public Health’s website page for more information.
Then, take your certified birth certificate and other documents needed to the DMV to get a new driver’s license or non-driver ID. To see the list of acceptable documents, go to: http://uwc.211ct.org/drivers-license/.
